First Day of School Outfit
This weekend is tax free weekend in Texas. Which means, the stores will be packed with families searching for back to school outfits, hoping to save money while also sticking it to the government. (Gotta love the republican way of thinking! Note: Add a hint of sarcasm while reading.) So, I was thinking today would be a great day to have our first ever photo contest. It's simple! Just click on the button below labeled "add your link" and post a picture of you or your kiddo's first day of school outfit. I'm unsure whether this will turn into the cutest contest or display an array of awkward photos that have haunted you your entire life and have ultimately forced you into therapy. The best/worst photo will receive a gift certificate to Blockbuster. Entries will be accepted up until 6 pm, Sunday, the 22nd. I will announce the winner Monday. My boys aren't old enough for first day of school photos, so I will kick this off with a photo of myself circa mid-1980s. Enjoy! I can't wait to see all of your pics!

ReplyDeleteYou are lookin' good and not a bit shy about it. I was going to be brave and post a horrible picture of me but my scanner is not working. Let's just say my mom made the whole outfit. It reminds me of a dress but it is actually a ruffled top with MC Hammer style pants...Oh dear. What were we thinking?

ReplyDeleteSadly, I have no 1st day of school photos to share! I'm going to dig through my photos though and see if I might have an acceptable alternative.
