Mmm Mmm! Monday - Chocolate Banana Pudding

This week Kit has challenged me to create a recipe using only ingredients we already have sitting in our refrigerator, freezer, and/or pantry. I am not allowed to spend any money or "borrow" food from neighbors, friends or family. It must be creative, aesthetically pleasing and, above all else, yummy! I feel like I'm on Top Chef! Regardless of the constraints, this turned out to be a great snack! I think even Tom Colicchio would approve! Try this at home and let me know what you think!

Chocolate Banana Pudding
serves 1

1/2 banana
3 vanilla wafers
1 cup chocolate pudding
2 tablespoons whipped cream

1. Slice the banana and snap 2 of the vanilla wafers in half

2. Place 3 banana slices at the bottom of a serving dish

3. Spread 1 tablespoon of whipped cream on top of the banana slices

4. Place the split vanilla wafers on top of the cream

5. Spoon in all of the chocolate pudding

6. Layer in 3 more banana slices

7. Top with 1 final tablespoon of whipped cream

8. Garnish with a whole vanilla wafer sandwiched between 2 banana slices
